On Blogging and Losing Interest In It

I’ve been pretty much slacking off on blogging lately. School seriously took most of my time and when I do have time, I have no idea what I should blog (or whatever you call this) about. The thought of deleting this blog or moving to another platform is also a thing I’ve been considering lately. Who wouldn’t? It feels like Tumblr is more of a reblog site now. A site for pretty pictures.

But being the sucker I am for memories and whatnot, I can’t do that. Besides, this blog made it possible for me to meet a lot of people - some that I have been really close with that I consider them as internet best friends (if there is such a thing), some that I want to be closer friends with, or even just being a reader of their blog - that I would want to meet in person. When everything isn’t well with the real world, I have this to turn to. And it makes things better.

This has been my creative outlet (am I even creative?) for years and I don’t want that to change. But when everyone’s busy with school or work, it’s just…different. Blogging is more enjoyable during the summer when everyone (or rather, a lot) of people are actually blogging. I don’t even look at my Tumblr app everyday anymore. I’ve been more active on Twitter ever since I made a new account there. I feel like everything can be said in 140 characters or less nowadays. I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing.

Anyway, it’s the start of a new month! August has been one hell of a roller coaster ride. For a lot of reasons. I really do hope September would be a whole lot better. For everyone. As for blogging, let’s just wait and see where this goes. Writing this post made me miss blogging. I sure wish I had more time and motivation to do that every time.

"No, this is not the beginning of a new chapter in my life; this is the beginning of a new book! That first book is already closed, ended, and tossed into the seas; this new book is newly opened, has just begun! Look, it is the first page! And it is a beautiful one!" - C. JoyBell C.

Life in Squares

I’ve been MIA here ever since school started. Well, not really, but all I did was reblog and post things that I eventually private-d. I felt like doing this post since I want to remember these first few days. (Hmm, that’s a pretty good reason, yeah? HAHA)

The latest class I have ends before 3, no breaks from 7 am, during two days. In that two days, I go to the jeepney stop already and just eat at a fast food chain to avoid rush hour in the campus. (rush hour is crazyyy)

Really thankful for my cousin. I get to avoid commuting for the other two days! Nope, I’m not staying in a dorm. I go home every single day. One hour and thirty minutes travel, no biggie. /sarcasm

The third photo’s a view from the Archery Range, the place where our PE meetings are held. I was an hour early there, those who were there were studying or listening to music, so I decided to sneek a picture, haha. Very excited for this PE!

I knew I would be spending time in the library! Aircon + fast wifi while waiting for my cousin’s class to finish + (a little of) peace and quiet + YouTube videos = the best! I’ll probably use the time to study already. Bye, YouTube. :(

This also serves as my i-won’t-be-able-to-update-much-now-because-of-school post. I need to study. (Says the girl who’s currently watching HSM, Camp Rock, and Pitch Perfect songs to procrastinate. Long weekend, ftw!) Have a great week ahead!
